Jackson Hole, Wyoming is one of our family’s favorite destinations in the U.S. So when Andy and I were talking about somewhere to go for our 10 year anniversary we knew this had to be on the list. It was our first trip together when we were dating and it had been years since we had been back. It was the perfect nostalgic choice for our quick anniversary getaway. Below is our 4 day itinerary in our favorite place.
Day 1-ARRIVAL DAY
Arrive in Jackson Hole. We rented our Bronco from Turo. I believe a rental vehicle is a must when in Wyoming. There are so many sites to see that you will definitely want a car.

Check into resort. We stayed at Rustic Inn Creekside in a private cabin and I cannot recommend this resort enough. The grounds are beautiful, the cabins are cozy and the people cannot be friendlier. It was also in a great location.

Dinner at Hand Fire Pizza. We loved this place. It is located right off the Jackson Hole square. The pizza is cooked right in front of you in an open air kitchen in a huge brick oven. We will definitely come back here.

Back to resort for an early night since we have an early morning the next day.
Day 2-Grand Teton National Park and Wildlife Tour
We started off the day bright and early with a Safari Wildlife Tour through Brushbuck Tours. We met them right on the square of Jackson Hole and they drove us into Grand Teton National Park (about a 10 min drive). The vehicles were open air safari type vehicles which were perfect for wildlife spotting. This was one of our favorite things we did on the trip. The guide was so knowledgeable and we were able to see tons of wildlife and beautiful landscapes all throughout the park. We were able to get out and use the provided binoculars and viewfinders when the guide spotted wildlife. We saw moose, elk, prong horned antelope, bears, eagles and much more.

After our 1/2 day wildlife tour we decided to come back into town and grab lunch. We stopped in at Jackson Drug on the square. It was fantastic. It was just simple, sandwiches, burgers, fries, etc in an old converted drug store. But it was really good.
After lunch we shopped around the Square a little bit and went to Kemo Sabe. If you don’t know what Kemo Sabe is then I highly suggest you check them out. I had been following them for years on social media and had always wanted to stop in one. They are a luxury hat maker and they will customize your hats just the way you want them. They only ever had stores in Colorado-Vail and Aspen-up until just recently. They expanded into Las Vegas, Jackson Hole and Park City. I got so lucky because they had literally just opened the week before our trip. I was so excited to buy and customize my new hat. It is such a fun experience.

That night we had dinner at The Blue Lion. We had heard great things about this restaurant so I don’t know if they were just having an off night, but it was not great. I wouldn’t go back.
Day 3-Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole Rodeo
We started off our day just taking the Bronco sightseeing through the park again. We wanted to go back to some of the places that we didn’t get to see the day before. We explored a lot of the park this day. Some of the highlights were Mormon Row and Jenny Lake.
Mormon Row was amazing and learning the history behind it all was so neat. The backdrop of the Tetons against these barns is spectacular.

Jenny Lake was also definitely a highlight of the trip. There is so much to do around this lake. A museum, hiking trails, waterfalls, overlooks, boat rides. It was all amazing and the scenery is truly unmatched. Don’t miss Jenny Lake!

That night we had dinner at Gun Barrel Steak and Game House. It was good but nothing spectacular. I wish we would have gone to Hatch. It is a Mexican restaurant that has the best reviews but my husband isn’t the biggest Mexican food fan so we chose to go somewhere else.
After dinner we went to the Jackson Hole Rodeo and I highly recommend doing this. What is better than a competition rodeo in Wyoming? It was so fun.

Day 4: Guided Fly Fishing and Teton Village
We got up bright and early to have breakfast before fishing at Persephone Bakery. It was AMAZING. Located right on the Square. A must do on your next Jackson Hole trip.

We met the fishing guide early that morning in town and rode with him to start our fishing day on the Snake River. My husband loves to fish so this was right up his alley. The guide was great. He was from Wandering Angler and I highly recommend them. We floated the Snake River as we fished and the scenery was so stunning the entire morning.

After fishing, we had a late lunch at Pearl Street Bagels. Highly recommend. This place is so good. This is a spot that we keep coming back to every time we come to Jackson.
After lunch we headed into the Teton Village to do the Jackson Hole Aerial Tram. I am terrified of heights so this was a hard one for me to do, but the views from up there are incredible.

That night we shopped around the Square some more and had dinner at Glorietta. It is an Italian restaurant and it was fantastic. I would highly recommend adding this place to your dining list.

We ended our last night with an outing to the infamous Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. It was so fun to literally “saddle” up at the bar and have a drink before ending our perfect trip.

We will be heading back to Jackson Hole with the kids this summer and we cannot wait.
