Four Seasons Jackson Hole | Location
Four Seasons Jackson Hole is located in Teton Village in Jackson Hole which is just minutes from the entrance of Grand Teton National Park and about 15-20 minutes from the town of Jackson, Wyoming. Jackson Hole has its own airport, making travel to the Four Seasons a breeze. We typically fly American Airlines into the Jackson Hole airport. Find the best flight deals HERE.
The resort can coordinate with you and offers pickup and transportation to and from the airport in a luxury SUV as well. So as soon as you land in Wyoming, your seamless vacation starts. But I do highly recommend renting a car for your trip to Jackson Hole. I promise you will want to get out and explore as much as you can. It is so nice to have a car to drive to town or to Grand Teton National Park. We have never done a trip here without renting a car.
Teton Village is the perfect spot to spend a family vacation in Jackson Hole. It has several resorts, restaurants, shopping, hiking trails, the Jackson Hole aerial tram that you can take to Corbet’s for those famous waffles and much more. It is great place for an easy, convenient location because everything you need is truly within walking distance.
Four Seasons Jackson Hole | Accommodations
Let’s start with the accommodations that this property offers. There are several types of accommodation options here. Everything from standard rooms to large private residences. There is something for everyone from a small family vacation to traveling with friends or extended family.
It was just the four of us on this trip so we stayed in the standard room with 2 queen beds and a valley view which was stunning. The bathrooms are luxurious. There is a beautiful working fireplace, balcony overlooking the mountains, a huge walk in closet for storage and THE MOST COMFORTABLE beds which are much needed after a long day of exploring in Grand Teton National Park.
We had the most amazing time at this stunning resort. Even though it is a luxury resort, it does not have that stuffy feel that can come when staying at 5 star hotels. Everyone is so friendly, the resort is a modern rustic stunner and just has an overall chill vibe.
Four Seasons Jackson Hole | Experiences and Activities
The resort offers so many experiences that are perfect for the whole family. There is something for everyone in your travel party. A lot of these experiences happen right at the resort as well. Some of the experiences that you can do right on the resort include: renting e-bikes and taking them to Grand Teton National Park or Rendezvous Park, a luxury spa for the adults, heated swimming pools & hot tubs, wine & whiskey tastings, ropes course, yoga classes, boutiques, & hiking trails.
This resort is also amazing for a winter ski vacation with ski lifts right on site, ski in/ski out residences, and a ski concierge.
The resort also has several services they provide to help make your family vacation run even more smoothly. Services like grocery provisions, babysitting and 24 hour in room dining,
There are also plenty of experiences that the resort will curate for you that aren’t necessarily located on the resort, but they can coordinate some spectacular experiences for you. Some of these experiences include: wildlife safaris, stargazing, Yellowstone tours, scenic floats and fly fishing. They can arrange most anything for you after you have a reservation at the resort. Four Seasons Jackson Hole | Dining
This was one of my favorites parts of the entire trip. There are so many amazing restaurants right in the resort. The Handle Bar is a great place to have lunch. With the view of the mountains, fire pits surrounding the outdoor dining area, huckleberry lemonade, incredible Ahi Tuna and the most amazing skillet cookie and ice cream I have ever tasted.
There is also Westbank Grill which offers a fabulous breakfast, but in my opinion, an even more fabulous dinner. Please I beg you, if you eat here, order the ribeye. It was INCREDIBLE. You do not have to be a Four Seasons guest to dine here. You can make reservations for dining online.
Ascent Lounge is a slope-side bar area that offers Pan-Asian inspired small plates that are great for sharing.
They also have the pool cafe which is great for the kids. They also have complimentary s’mores kits in the winter to enjoy by the fire. And as I said above, 24 hour room service.
There are also numerous other dining options around Teton Village as well. Some of our favorites are the Mangy Moose, Spur, Il Villaggio Osteria.
Jackson Hole Activities
We travel to Jackson Hole yearly so I am going to list some of our favorite activities to do when you are in the area. These are always a hit with everyone in the family.
Experiences On The Water
Now my family also loves to be on the water. My husband, Andy, and my son are fly fishing fanatics so going out with the guide on the Snake River is always a must. You don’t have to be an experienced fly fisherman to experience this. The guides are fantastic and will help even the most novice fly fisher.
We also took a scenic float as a family down the Snake River and the views are just incredible. There is truly nothing more magical than floating the Snake with the Tetons serving as your backdrop. We like to use Solitude Float Company. They are one of the few that can actually put the raft in at Grand Teton National Park so you get the best view. This is always one of my favorite things to do in Jackson Hole.
There are so many ways to get on the water when visiting Jackson Hole. From paddle boards to kayaks to whitewater rafting-there is something to fit every family.
Other Favorite Experiences
A guided side by side tour through this private ranch is such a fun way to experience Jackson Hole. Our guide Matteo was so fun to talk to. I always love talking to the locals about living in Jackson Hole. This experience takes you through a private ranch, and you have access to the Snake River on this tour. This was a perfect family friendly activity. The kids got to get out, run around and play. They loved it. This tour was provided through Backcountry Safari and they were great.
We also love a guided wildlife tour. Yes, this is something you can do on your own through the park, but the guides are so knowledgeable. They do this daily and know the wildlifes’ patterns, where the best chance is to spot them, they offer great spotting equipment, and you just get to sit back and relax and let someone do the driving.
Horseback Riding
We haven’t been able to do this with the kids yet, because my daughter doesn’t meet the age requirements of most of the providers just yet. Most of them require the minimum age of at least 6, but they are all different so just be sure you check that out before booking.
Hiking
There are several great hiking trails that we love that are family friendly, but these 2 are my favorite: Taggart Lake Trailhead and String Lake Loop Trail.

What to Pack
Packing for Wyoming will require some planning. The weather can go from 70s/80s during the day, to 40s at night, even in the summer. So be sure to pack layers when heading to Jackson Hole. You will want clothing for your activities as well. Think cowboy boots for horseback riding, quick-drying fabrics for rafting, and of course Western attire if you want to dress the part.
